    Who Can Attend?

    Middle College High School programs are open to all students, sixteen or older, who have at least 8 credits and who may or may not be thriving in their present school environment. These students are should be looking for an educational option to prepare for college and/or to complete their high school graduation requirements in a small school setting.


    1. Complete the Referral Form and Statement of Understanding and mail it or drop it off at our Northgate site, along with your current transcripts and 504 or IEP, if applicable. You may also email all documents to kcjones@seattleschools.org

    2. RSVP to attend a tour at the site of your choice. Tour times are listed below:

    3. Attend our Orientation and Interview Session at our Northgate site on Mondays from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. Parents/Guardians are encourage to attend the Orientation portion. This session includes:

    • An orientation on our program at MCHS, as well as information on all three sites.
    • Essay writing
    • A student interview with the principal.

    4. Meet with our Academic Counselor to set up your schedule, upon approval to the program
